Peanut Butter Cookies

Estimated Cooking Time: prep 20/cook 10 min per tray
1/2 c butter
1/2 c granulated sugar
1 egg
3/4 t baking soda
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c creamy peanut butter (room temp)
1 & 1/4 c flour
1/2 t baking powder
Cream butter and peanut butter together.
Add egg and beat well
Add sugars mix well
Add flour, baking soda & baking powder.
Chill in fridge until firm.
Roll 1/2 inch balls on cookie sheet.
Use a fork dipped in water to criss/cross the top of the ball.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 300 degrees. Cookies will still be soft to the touch and slightly brown.
