Recipe
Edamame
FoFa says:
"I am almost surprised I don't see this in here. Talk about a good replacement for chips. And easy also. Get the edamame in the shell, not shelled. To eat them, you basically hold one end, put them in your moth and squeeze the peas out with your teeth. Have an extra bowl for the discarded shells."
Ingredients
1 or two bags of frozen whole edamame.
Water
Salt (kosher works the best, trust me)
Directions
Bring a LOT of water to boil (think pasta). Cook according to the directions on the bag, but basically it is bring to boil again, boil 5 minutes.
Drain.
Run cold water on to stop the cooking.
Let drain until just wet.
Sprinkle a lot of salt on them while flipping in a bowl (this is the key, both the flipping and a lot of salt, think pretzels kind of salt coverage).
