Flying Saucers

1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 cup raisins (soaked in water and drained)
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten egg, honey, milk, and raisins.
Add other ingredients and mix well. Drop on cookie sheet with and ice cream scoop; then flatten with a glass dipped in cold water. Bake @ 350 degrees for 10-15-minutes.
