Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?

I offer maid services, including standard cleaning, deep cleaning, turn over and move in/out cleaning as well as

dishes, laundry service, organization and decluttering. I have been doing this for a year and am excited to share Silly Goose Maid Services with the Kingwood community.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
After being a stay at home mom for 12 years, I started looking for opportunities and found work with a local housekeeping company. Showing up and making a difference in people’s life by making their home shine is so rewarding! I love the look of relief on people’s faces when they get help they've needed for so long and the bond I form with my clients.

Tell us a few things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
I am proud of my attention to detail and the love I put into the work I do. I don't just run through a home with a check list, I notice things that the client seems to be struggling with and I start to add those things in with my maintenance cleans and tackle bigger issues little by little because my clients all deserve to feel the love in what I do.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
My favorite part is the way it feels when a client walks into their home or out of a room they've been waiting in and the look on their face when they see their clean and tidy home. The weight physically leaves their features and THAT is my favorite part. I always wanted to be in a field where I helped people heal and a lot of times that's exactly what I get to do.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?

Cleaning is a part of everybody’s to-do list. From busy professionals, senior citizens and active families, I meet people where they are. When you can provide cleaning solutions to people who don’t like to clean, don’t have time to clean, are overwhelmed and struggling to maintain things that is very rewarding. Silly Goose Maid Services is here for you.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
While cleaning has always been part of my life, I realized my approach to sorting/organizing, general cleaning, deep

cleaning and executing a plan of action to optimize results was valuable. I truly enjoy it and it gives me a sense of satisfaction. So grateful to my community of folks who rely on my help to keep their homes lovely.
