HappyDay2016 :
I would like to at least see something planted in the barren parts.

Orangeapple : It's likely that trees for Kingwood will plant some trees. They have replanted in many greenbelt areas.

#msg5926219cbear : There's so many weak and/or diseased trees that are still standing til a storm comes through…it's kind of shocking to see what's left after the clean up and the loss is so clearly seen. The vines and junk will come roaring back but the trees are just gone. Greentree has been hit very hard. This is just one area like this, there are many others that look like this. As i cycle through Kingwood, I haven't seen other areas this bad.

MissAmericanPie : Last weekend when we had all that wind, I saw one of my neighbors tree had a large limb taken out. Reminds me, I need to stop by and talk to them about trimming their towing pines which are hanging over my property. Thanks for the reminder!

#msg5926158It's a little disturbing to see our greenbelts hit so hard by damaged trees and vegetation…..they are cleaning up now. This is in Greentree by Hill Springs and Brook Shadow.

MissAmericanPie : This makes me think of road construction, and how things have to get WORSE before getting better.

cbear : Actually you can have anything trimmed that is in your property line.

I realize you don't want to pay for them to maintain their trees but a lot of people won't!
I have mine trimmed routinely specifically to keep all the limbs off my neighbors roof! They love me lol. But it's just courtesy.

MissAmericanPie : I will if they fail to take action. They are nice people so I think it will be fine.

MissAmericanPie : It really is sad looking all over Kingwood and it is shocking when I see another bare spot. Hopefully, the Trails Associations will replant with some nice trees.
