Center Point-
I lost electricity less often in a combat zone & several 3rd world countries.
Trees are not always the culprit. Sometimes it's our drivers or lightnings strikes. But, during clear weather, blue skies, & calm winds I can't help but blame CENTER POINT !

Yes, I agree. My daughter works from home several days a week and while tachus and having a generator here help, it does not decrease her anxiety over work. We never are notified of outages and we have a short lack of energy she usually has to blow a day because it interrupted a 2 hour interview with her client. She would just rather go in if there is a chance of bad weather for sure. This last week, we really weren't having bad weather though.
#msg5922488acteon : Well that's not going to happen
What actions do you recommend? Filing complaints has been ineffective.

True, and it is not like there is an alternative unless you just want to use a generator or move. Just like many supposedly regulated things, there are no consequences.
We must have the worst power system in Kingwood in the whole United States.

I know it sounds like a lot ( and it is ,it takes work and dedication) but if we don't take a step we are going to deal with this for eternity....The time for empty promises has passed ,plenty of time was given for work to be done ,yet we are having the same issues like before, year after quite a few diseases happened and destroyed many people's lives...showing clearly that the work they said it was done it wad superficial at best or at least did not have the expected result.
We are paying high fees for these services so we have to demand our money's worth.
Is Trader Joe's Harris or Montgomery County? I know there's a line that runs through that area. Could be powered by Entergy? Just wondering.
