I'm waiting on some good guys and girls to play hero. Kinda worries me about concealed carry. Everyone is carrying. So when the bad gun pulls his gun, everyone opens fire. As a gun owner from a young age, hunting, living on a farm, etc I see few reasons to carry. I do carry when traveling but have never needed to pull nor even thought about it. Why do people see the need to carry at community events, children's sports (even getting into it over them) is beyond my sane mind. Time to have a hard conversation about the glory worship of guns in today's society. That conversation also needs to include the value of human life, controlling anger, etc. Humanity is failing itself.

Jeepinbear : Not true, it is illegal to carry in an establishment with >50% of revenue in alcohol sales. and a "51%" sign must be posted at the entrance.
sweetie : I can't wrap my head around that either. You are definitely going to get caught. And in the meantime, you will definitely be haunted, paranoid, and hunted. When caught, could be years, life, or death. An ****** today will be an ****** tomorrow. Why stoop to their level? Walk away. Whenever, wherever I go, I'm on a pivot, and you can bet I'm judging everyone and everything. No matter where I go, I do a walkabout. I know where the exits, kitchen, and bathrooms are. I get a good look at everyone in the place, and I sit facing the door or where I have clear site of the whole place. Keep my back to a wall.
beadweaver : You have to be on alert everywhere now. It's just not safe. I'll try to stay in the bubble unless I'm visiting friends. If I can't find it here, I'll find it online, but I'm not going to places like the mall or in Houston shops. I don't do that anymore.
