According to the articles, banks are scrambling to create new "user agreements " for consumers to sign now that we have this to deal with. They are trying to address the issue of financial loss and how to handle that. But it doesn't say HOW yet. I'm assuming it will be covered but if the loss comes from a users password AI agent, then maybe not?
I don't understand much about the AI coding mumbo jumbo, but yesterday I read about some error in an initial code that created a doomsday hacking thrat. Mboo jumbo.
Aha, I saved the article.
Something about fixing a flaw in computer language PHP
I just had an issue with our credit union. The on line access to my account was password blocked. I called them and they advised me to always initiate the call to a live human for password changes etc

The scammers are using deep fake AI to make it really hard to spot them. We gotta stay on top of all this. It's like a part time job!
The credit union said they were doing maintenance on their software that recognized a lot of customers hadn't changed passwords for a long time. They used the strategy to advise password updates and only talk to live reps with any issues in the future..

Scary! But but they MUST pay if they release monies not sanctioned by the owner of the account. My guess is those who can satisfy the bank's demand for account minimum (which increases yearly) will be ok, and those who can not will suffer the most. It is very expensive being lower income. So sad .

This has been on my mind for quite some time. Yet, I haven't done squat about it. Did you freeze certain accounts and how do you initiate blocks?
