So glad Snowball is doing well. You hate to see your baby in that cone but it must be done. It will be over with soon. Hang in there.

KanKan : Wonderful! I am sure you are glad this is over. I know I always am when it's one of my pups. Don't be surprised if he suddenly has a lot of energy when all the drugs have left his system. It is always difficult to keep my pets from wanting to play and run around even with the pain killers the vet give us. I think they bounce back from the surgery really fast.

Thanks, everyone. He is sleeping a lot and it's funny because we're on the same antibiotic but mine is a higher dose. We take them at the same time but he gets his in peanut butter. Lol.

sleeping is good, and it helps him relax and heal. this time, next week, he will be cone free, and romping happily! thanks for the update, and glad he is doing well! and hope your antibiotic is working for you, too!

Not putting the cone on has a very bad out come. Ask me how I know this.

Thankfully surgery went well. Cones are difficult for both pets and people. The alternative can be more difficult. This too shall become a memory.
