Do You Dance?

LittleTexas : I love to dance~ R&R, Oldies, C&W. I was on dance team in HS.

Just Zumba at the Y. I think I'm doing what the instructor is doing. Until I look in the mirrors on the wall. 🤪

I can do the klutz, she told me.

Hubby and I have been known to hear a tune or two in Stores and will begin dancing. So if you ever seen two seasoned people you thought were having a medical episode in HEB, it was most likely us.

It was; fun and good exercise, which we did not even care about, at that time. I also played softball. We went out to dance on Wednesdays and Saturdays, every week. I loved this song, too; our dance crew did a routine to it.

I love to dance and good I might add!

We used to dance in a Polish Folk Dance Group in Richmond, VA..........we were taught dances for each of seven regions.............would practice 3 days a week......then perform at festivals. When you get a standup ovation from 25,000 festival goers...........you become a rock star! And, I got over being bashful on stage which helped later in developing my management skills, making speeches to 400 employees.

But wait............the local Richmond Times had pictures of the group in our costumes on the social pages so we became known around town. Managers at restaurants would give us free desserts, when we came to visit. Fun times.

So, two weeks after SteveT and I met, we went to a grocery store at 11:00 at night , and a fun little song came on. He was in a wheelchair and I was still walking at that time. So, we started dancing in the empty aisle. I went under his arm and he was not ready for that! CRASH! He's on his back and the wheelchair handle hit the top of my foot and I ... did not remain silent. The manager comes running and pokes his head around the aisle. "You OK?" "Um, Yes!" as I try to help Steve off the floor. "Clean up on Aisle 11!"
