They really are good. Haven't been in a while.

teatime : We were there recently and asked for their tuna taco platter, but they said they no longer serve it. I really liked it...

I love Union Kitchen. Always feel so civilized in there.

I hate it when my favorites go off a menu. I don't eat out that often so I usually order something unhealthy 😂. Those items seem to never go off their menus! 🤣

Seems most of their other locations have shut down over recent years. Glad this one is surviving.

RolloTomaso : it wasn't busy- I would like to see it supported. It's one of the few restaurants that we have that although it has other locations it isn't a high profile franchise.
If we want to attract other places like (for example) Willie's Icehouse, Mia's kitchen, The Black Walnut, etc- we have to try to support our existing businesses.

I haven't been in awhile, either. Not because I don't like it, I do! I've just bought gift cards here, and been using them.

Glad you all had an enjoyable lunch. I went to happy hour with friends, and our drinks and apps were good. So, took my youngest to lunch there about 3 months ago, and service and food were disappointing Spoke to the manager about the service, and was told ' we are short staffed'; no apology, no remorse. Not the best answer. A simple' we are so sorry your experience was not a good one.." will work for me, every time.

Last time I went with a group in the private room. At least 30 people. They gave us 1 server to take all individual orders, food came out over a period of 30 minutes so some people finished eating before some had been served. Then the one guy had to do all individual checks. They knew everyone was doing individual tickets so why not give us a second server? Or why didn't the manager jump in? I think kitchen and dining server staffing are issues there. We went to manager to complain the guy needed help but no one did anything.

It has been a long time since I have been too. I thought their best dishes was their lobster grilled cheese and the crab tower with avocado.I just haven't thought about eating there again because I don't usually drive by. But now I think we'll probably visit again soon.
