How many move here and quickly experience the excruciating neverending heat, hurricanes and floods, insane property taxes, ridiculous insurance rates, unreliable electric grid, inflated electric and water bills, and promptly realize the grass is not greener and go back home?

I get that. I don't think I can leave Texas because I'm a born and bred Texan and proud of it. But I can move to a less populated area of Texas because I don't like the vibe outsiders are bringing to our Texas culture in this area. When I'm traveling, I'm always happy to say I'm from Texas but embarrassed to admit I'm from Houston.

If I could I would move to New Zealand. I like the idea of a place where all the different environments are smooshed into one place. That and these rare little guys are hilarious.
