Ummmm Id need to see that house before i give the ok on the dirt and land….🤣I love the land and natural beauty. But its def going to require maintenance. It may be fun initially but long term it might get old.

Chow : WOW, How many acres is this? It looks like fun to me. Is it big enough for an AG exemption. I think in most counties you need 10 acres plus land for the homestead.

Chow : With 13 acres you can get an AG exemption if you have Honey Bees. Polk county requires 6 - 12 hives depending on the size of the property. This is a list of what is required by county. texasbeekeepers.org/ bees-by-county/I would call and talk to someone to be sure of how many hives you would have to have. If the property already has an AG exemption I would keep it and then get into bees and drop the original exemption if I wanted to. The county will tell you how it all works. Bees are a good thing and it is very rewarding.
