ACA recipients to receive $500 refund .......

20 million people have an ACA plan. It's their best option available. It has stuck around this long because it's needed. Instead of hating on it, how about demanding your elected officials come up with an even better option? Or......if it makes you feel better.....keep hating the past politicians who had the balls to take this issue on.

I wish all politicians would stop trying to buy votes. Gubernatorial nominee Gina Hinojosa's tax and economic plan centers on delivering a one-time $1,500 "Corruption Tax Refund" check to every household in Texas.

I feel very fortunate to work for a O&G company that afforded me great insurance. Not everyone has access to great insurance. I don't take that for granted.

I paid a penalty for not having that scam.

To me, not a good idea to go without health insurance however, some were/are in a position to have to chose between food on the table and health insurance. If you can't afford to buy it in the first place, is it necessary to fine you on top of it?

What I meant is that those that choose to be irresponsible don't pay. We the responsible do through higher prices to cover what they did not pay for. Limb and life threatening conditions have to be at least stabilized before that person away.

Insurance bought through the ACA exchanges was with private insurance companies. Why is the government paying the $500 refunds and not the insurance companies?
