Paper plates. Isn't the purpose of them to not have to do dishes and to be able to warm items up in the microwave? Walking around Home Goods this morning and saw some cute autumn ones. Turned them over to see the price and saw this! It was stamped on several different packages. I have never seen that before nor will I buy them. lol

Just to place food on, not to be used to warm any up. At $1 each, you would think they would be more useful! Glad you read the fine print before buying!❤️
If the fancy ones have foil/gold/silver trim it will spark. I bought honey that crystallized and popped it in the microwave as I normally do 😀 well, the label had fancy gold honeycomb design and that thing started popping and snapping 😳

The cute foil/metallic ones will spark in the microwave.

I thought I took a picture of the front but I evidently didn't. I do think it had gold somewhere on it.

Per recent surveys only 45% of American families eat together and 50% eat on paper plates.
KanKan and LittleTexas reacted :0 my mother is clutching her pearls! with my kids, we ate in 'every day dishes' ( nice but not expensive, in case one got broken), and we only used paper plates when we bbq'd outside. Paper plates, these days, are Much nicer, than the old school, thing, ruffly edges ones.
