Immigrant toddlers ordered to appear in court alone

That sounds awful according to the way the article is written. But the article doesn't say how long the law or policy that an immigration judge cannot appoint an attorney to represent an unaccompanied minor has been in effect.Anybody know?

and a court decision has affirmed that illegal immigrants can be deported to yet a third country with which the immigrant has absolutely no connection. Thus far, some 25,000 deportees have been shipped off to an unrelated third country(that must have been channeling the Donald and miller..instead of deportees, spell check typed in "reporters")
