I think we ladies need something happy to celebrate for absolutely no reason at all! It's been a pretty tough year for so many of us. How about we meet for a lovely Afternoon Tea like they have in England ... but at my house on October 10 at 4 PM.
Traditionally, Afternoon Tea is at 4PM consisting of tea, finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries in the afternoon. If you would like to come, please RSVP, PM or call me so I can prepare tables for the right number of guests. If you would like to bring any tea finger sandwiches, scones, pastries or "biscuits" (tea cookies), please also let me know in advance. You are more than welcome to, but you don't have to. You can just come and have fun!
I will put this notice out here again the week of the Tea, but I just wanted to get this reminder out to you so you can plan in advance, and set the afternoon aside!
Dress is Dress Casual. One last thing ... this is a BYOTS affair ... Bring your own Teacup and Saucer! (I have a FEW extra if you don't have any.) I hope to see you here!

I am looking forward to coming, but it depends on a family event; trying to steer them to Another day, as I would love to come to your tea. Will definitely let you know, asap!
