Beware! Person asking for money in Private Messages

@oggie123 : Yeah… that part almost fooled me too!!

Never give money to any individual person !!! This has already been proven that people post across multiple community sites in multiple states. They lie and prey on those who are trying to be kind. Give to HAAM or Society of St Stephens or other REPUTABLE charities.

@myopinions4me : Very true. Even the ones that appear to be legit can be found all over social media running quite the begging campaign. They jump back and forth between here and the one about KW/flooding/kindness. One in particular can also be found all over FB, TikTok and IG with the same "story" as posted here. The videos and music add that little something extra to tug at those heart strings and open wallets. I just kills me to see good people with kind hearts, that mean well, get looped into the game.

@Nde3 : i've been happy to see that people are starting to push back on the flooding Kingwood with kindness site, same people month after month, asking for gas money, new tires, birthday gifts for their children, groceries …..it's insane. Bleeding hearts perpetuate laziness.

@Ruger5 : Never fails. Its like clockwork. They post here. We push back and they block us. No different than the scammer from overseas.
