#msg5985616Cbear : I hadn't seen him in a while, but there he was a month ago, picking up trash on the side of the road.

Ruger5 : Thank goodness. Like Joe, I had hear that he passed.

#msg5985607The bicycle mom who hauled the little kiddie cart with a high flag on the end of it what was that thread called?

Ruger5 : Is that the same one with the ice cream cart? I think she was the daughter of a KDCer. I wanna say QueenB but I don't trust my memory right now.

Joe :
How about the guy that does the daily countdown of how many days it's been since Hurricane Harvey? Bob Rehak, he's good about keeping us informed about flooding issues and construction updates, too.

#msg5985536Uniquely Kingwood Characters A recent post has made me try to think of uniquely Kingwood / local characters over the years. - The guy who rides around Kingwood Drive on his bike with his pups in a basket. - There used to be a guy who wore a super hero costume near the old library I heard (never saw him myself). - The guy with the bat mobile. - Trey the juggler, usually out by Starbucks or the old Blockbuster building. Anyone else I'm missing you can think of?

Joe : no mention of the "crazy" jogger from the early 90's?

Joe : Well, I think our very own StormChaser is pretty unique myself. Her radar and forecasts are better than the news anchors. If it starts to get dark and rumbly, I check KDC first to see if she has posted the "current radar". Very, very useful info!

donnatella : That wasn't my daughter... mine pedaled the DreamCycle around Kingwood... it was a bike with an actual freezer full of ice cream on the front and covered with a multi-colored umbrella. Don't doubt your memory, you've still got it! Emoticon

#msg5985592This is my last one I promise.... I can tell y'all didn't grow up in the 80's if you're freaked out by spiked hair. 😅🤣😂

Kaylagirl : When I was pregnant I cut hair short and spiked it quite a few times, lol.
