I'm going to rant for a minute. I rode from Northpark to East E

It's a 5 mile ride to East End Park taking Northpark, Lake Houston, and Kingwood. The greenbelt adds significant time to get to the park. I ride the greenbelt most of the time.

Were you riding on the street or riding on the trail/sidewalk ?if you were riding on the street, the rules of the road apply evenly, to you and the cars
But I'm guessing you were riding on the trails/sidewalk and they pulled too far out of their drive from a parking…….guess what, they weren't looking for ya…….and they want to pull as far forward as possible to see traffic.
Obviously, you think you had the right of way.Nobody in KW, drives looking for pedestrian or bike traffic……now you know.

My son got hit while riding his bike on Friday. Lady nicked him enough for him to flip off his bike and into the rocks (no side walks there). Major road rash but he was ok. Bike wasn't to bad, he walked it back to house. Lady in little red Nissan with a fluffy pink steering wheel made a U turn so she would not have to stop at red light (where she was headed) and took off around the other way, probably to light at Wendy's. Didn't even look to see if he was ok. This was by Chase Bank on Kingwood Drive and Chestnut.
