City moves to eliminate dangerous pool at abandoned Kingwood hom

The address for this house is 3711 Rivergrove Park Dr. I did a quick search on homes on that street, and using the photos from the KHOU online article, was able to identify the house - using the windows on the front of the house (only a few have that 3-window configuration to the left of the door) and the pics of the pool on the HAR website. You can see from the link below what that house USED to look like. Good point. What has the HOA been doing all this time? There is no mention of the HOA in the article I read.

My issue is the use of the word "dangerous". Is it annoying and unsitely, yep. As I said in a prior post, I can name 20 other things around KW that are "dangerous". This pool doesn't make the list.

Yea-- what does happen with an abandoned house??!! There is a really nice one on Rock Springs that has been abandoned a couple of years. Who does pay the HOA?! Why dont they hunt them down and make the owner pay to repair and mow?! I had some grass in the cracks in my driveway and got a hot letter from the HOA! Doesn't a bank somewhere own it? And could sell it?
