I totally understand kids do not always live by parental guidelines. Parents have limited control when children are away from them. A serious control option is to not buy motorized anything for them unless or until they demonstrate responsible decisions and respect for rules and laws. Parents have a responsibility to protect their children.

Motorized scooters and e-bikes in the hands of children are out of control in KWI have a few doing wheelees on their e-bikes on my block and no parents has taught them that 🚦or a stop sign 🛑 means and they fly by. The police say the trails are private property and the HOA doesn't want to enforce the restrictions and I get run over when I go for a walk with my dog.It's not a matter of IF but when is one of these riders going to lose a limb or a life………..and don't even start on the lack of respect they've learned from their parents.
