Ridiculous…..it has only gotten worse….we have teen drivers zooming through traffic on phones, kids WHO SHOULD NOT NOT NOT BE ON THESE ELECTRIC MOTORIZED VEHICLES DRIVING ALL OVER KINGWOOD ON GREENBELTS AND PARKING LOTS WITH ZERO AWARENESS OTHERS MAY NOT SEE THEM, and we have distracted driver's in general……Parents and kids should be held accountable WHY? Because the kids will not win against s 3,000 pound vehicle.

Young people do often drive fast, but I have seen a ton of adults driving and texting, or holding their phone in front of them doing video calls while driving. And a majority of the people who drive like wherever they are going isn't going to be there when they arrive if they don't hurry are people who are way old enough to know better. You can't put it all on the teen drivers.

...easy now...not all "Seniors" are the ones who "cannot drive". Have interacted with MANY people under 35 who are ON their phone, IN traffic, While driving; watching videos, responding to and sending texts, and more, so don't blame 'older' drivers.

It will happen again and someone riding an e-bike or scooter will get killed. Cars, suvs and the e-bikes, etc. have you seen the speeding and wreckless driving and ignoring stop signs, running red lights and even Jack rabbiting green lights before the red light runners have cleared the intersection. In addition there are truly accidents which happen. Cars and big tank SUVs will always win. I had several classmates killed when I was younger doing the same crazy things with bikes, skateboards, cars, and motorcycles.

Want2know : exactly. If we don't follow the laws as adults, how do we expect children to follow them?
