Weathergirl5 : Is she a good car rider? My late Biscuit was wild. I once had to take her to the vet and as soon as I parked...she was jumping around and honked the horn with her butt! Took me a minute to get her off the horn and folks were looking and laughing!
Cbear : Oh wow, what a story! She is getting better. I have a saddle that goes over my backseat to keep her from falling forward, and then I have a harness that hooks around my back headrest and clips onto the back of her harness to keep her sort of in place. She won't lie down and relax, but she doesn't cry and fuss as much as she used to. So maybe one day we'll get to the lying down point.

Weathergirl5 : Oh I hope so! The crying is so sad and can be distracting too. You want to comfort them but you must pay attention to your driving.
Cbear : Very true and I don't want to accidentally reward whiny behavior or sound too comforting and then she thinks "oh mom sounds worried, so I must be worried too."
