New Steak House restaurant in Kings Harbor

Well that is interesting. I like steak but don't really eat it that often. But it might do well in that location.

sellbuy : Where will it be going in? I didn't realize there were empty spaces still available in Kings Harbor.

It says the Steakhouse is going in where the Tasting Room was.That's a nice spot.

I never went into the Tasting Room, I think it had a nice view of the water. It will be interesting to see what they do. If it's a small space that could be difficult to overcome.

Everything I read says "opening soon" and a couple of references about a fall opening."The permit also details that construction is slated to start in April and wrap up at the end of October for a fall opening, pending licensing and construction completion."

It also mentioned it would be in the space where "Don't Axe" was as well.Was the Tasting Room and Don't Axe the same space or were they separate spaces?

PlaneCrazy : Well if I remember correctly, it did have an upstairs area. So maybe it's actually larger than the footprint.

sounds like the will expand the space. some of my favorite spots over the many years have been small ones, so no worries. Used to go to a great spot in Little Italy in Boston. I would call the owner a month or two before our trip to get a table, which she did not usually do, but she knew were were flying in, and we had become friends, over time. People lined up and waited, and no one minded at all. They seated only about 30 to 40 people, and it was worth every minute if one had to wait.

Wonder if this will hurt Chimichuri's business.
