Do you recognize this vehicle?

sweetie : Do you know that Polk County SPCA is a no kill shelter. The only one in the 3 county area. Occupancy could be another issue though.

SteveT : no I didn't know that. As big as Houston is, we really need a no kill shelter. I know that last year and the last few years that Texas has had billions extra in the budget. You would think they could spare 10 million to build one.

sweetie : For sure. I know that because our vet, Dr Keillor, works there during the week and 1 day at Texas Litter control. She said they even have programs at Polk SPCA to help those in need to keep their dogs. Some really cool stuff!BTW, she sees pets at her KW office on Sundays at Fur Babies.

MissAmericanPie: not me, I'm only sharing the info. They were dumped at Dora's Dawgs and Katz Rescue.

Sassenach : What the ******?!?!

Sassenach: I volunteered at Dora's for quite some time and adopted my little Chihuahua Bug from her. At least we know they will be well taken care of now, but the person responsible for dumping them should be held responsible! Dora and the wonderful volunteers will need even more donations now!

They are beautiful! Definitely look like there is some lab in them- lovely colors- surely they will be adopted into loving homes if these pictures are widely shared.
If I hadn't already adopted my guy I would love to adopt one of them. At my age I can't handle more than one.

OhSillyMe: they are in need of fosters so they won't have to go the shelter.
