Rain & Grass The rain is nice. But cannot cut my grass when it wet. With my work hours, my grass cutting time is limited. Every time I plan to mow my yard, it rains.
So those out there waxing your cars, stop it. Some of the younger people may not get this joke.

Genesis : I'm thinking you might not get your grass cut this week. I haven't waxed or washed the car lately.

I have not washed my car nor watered the grass. I can't take credit for the rain. Oh, my dog did have a bath on Saturday. That might be a reason...

Genesis : I truly understand this problem. DH mowed yesterday. Our lawn will need to be mowed by Friday but it will still be wet. I have no clue when it's gonna dry out. The HOA is just gonna have to live with it. You would think they would be understanding about it. After all, They can't mow the areas they are responsible for either.

Genesis : I get it and like you I am sick of the rain. I don't remember a spring/early summer that has been this rainy in years. Some rain is good, torrential rain is not.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Good point about the HOA. They should understand it. But as I had put in a previous thread; I have a karen next door.

Genesis : My flowers and bushes are out of control with all this rain, but I can't handle all the mosquitoes to stand out there and trim them! It's been an unusual spring!
Genesis : I usually wash my car most Mondays, or a few times a month. Today, it got a Free rinse cycle! I don't think it's going to be good for lawn mowing, until maybe Sunday? Use the time to nap wisely :D

Genesis : I agree. Our plan was to head to LA for yard work this weekend. This has been nixed as they're also getting the rain over there.

Genesis : Oh, What fun!!!
Genesis : Oh, What fun!!! One time we got a complaint about weeds in our yard. There were a few and could only be seen because it was a rainy time. I drove around my neighborhood and looked at the common areas they are responsible for. When I got home I called them and asked who they use for weed control. I wanted to be sure not to use them cause they are doing a poor job. I told her they should not bother people about a few weeds in the rainy season when they can't take care of their own.

Genesis : Our grass is getting scruffy… it will get mowed eventually. Hoping we don't get the HOA nasty gram.
