Woodlawn Hills Drive between Kingwood Drive and Northpark Drive has strips of dead grass and strips of green grass side by side. Did someone spray some herbicide there?

Genesis :
I have one where the COH came out ro repair a broken water line from across the street! What was once a beautiful green is now a brown patch. Hopefully this rain will help it along.

The streaks have straight lines. So, some type of an instrument was used.

I recall several years back that COH used a chemical on KWDrive medians that turned the grass brown. It was said it was to slow the growth of the grass and reduce mowing frequency. Complaints were made to our councilman (Dave Martin at the time) and I believe he followed up to try and stop the practice.
