Showbiz Theater. Went to see The Great Sheep Detective

We go to cinemark now, everytime we go to showbiz something is falling apart, not working, or filthy. We used to love it but its just in desperate need of renovation.

Nesracc : They accidentally destroyed their chairs during Covid with cleaners from what I read in some forums. I bet someone forgot to turn on the AC for that room today. It's definitely run down now, they need to shut it down for a few days and do deep cleanings and repaint and start changing out the chairs. I know it's expensive but they could space out the chair replacement by theater over time .

Unacceptable! My SIL and his sister went last Saturday, and they said the A/C wasn't working then, either. Not a good look for our Showbiz. I hope you complained to the theater manager.

Glad to hear the movie was good, I'll probably watch it when it becomes available on streaming. It's a shame our theater is in such bad shape, the last time I went to a movie I decided on Cinemark in Valley Ranch, and it was nice and comfortable.

I heard it was good. I have to say if there was no a/c, I would have gotten my money back, and gone later or somewhere else?

How did you sit through no A/C? I would have definitely gotten a refund. Too bad this theater has gone way down hill.

Aggie89 : It was already off the the other 2 theaters. I wanted to see it before today so I could discuss with the knitting group.

No AC is a No Go for me.

Did they tell you there was no ac before you bought the ticket, or when you walked in? If not then that would have been so wrong of them not to advise beforehand.
