May Be Trouble- Woodlands Mall Tomorrow :0 These takeovers have been heavily advertised this week the mall management, and law-enforcement are well aware of the plans. The kids come in large numbers and swarm around they will wreck things at the food court, throw things at shoppers, and generally wreak havoc, in lsrge numbers. if they have all this time on their hands, I say these kids need a job at McDonald's!! There have been other area malls that have had curfews in place because of events, like this let's see what happens at the Woodlands!
LittleTexas : If they are so bord, these kids need to get a job. What a PITA this will be to people who just want to shop, store owners, employees, and police. They don't need to have to babysit a bunch of teens. The teens who participate should be arrested if they cause any problems. The cops have more important things to do but if they are not there in force things could really get out of hand. At least it is in Montgomery county where they take law enforcement seriously.

UptownGirl : I am not sure but they should. I never go to that mall at night and when I do go there I park at the store I want to shop at. I do not go into the mall portion. It is a shame it is so sketchy there.
Weathergirl5 : Maybe unfair of me to say, but just look around at all these kids on scooters, yes yes I know obsessed with the danger of these things, and their mass numbers, but it begs the question, scooters aside, when parents can't, won't say no to their children they can grow up into entitled monsters who simply steal what they want. Just sayin'.

Ruger5 : Agreed 100%! I think parents need to start being parents these days and instilling more rules and saying NO. Of course, I am not talking about all parents, but I do see it everyday in my line of work--parents who do not "parent" and the kids show it.

chasinghosts : I definitely hope they are proactive and take it seriously. As is, I am sure mall traffic will be down. I would not go there if that was advertised to take place unless I knew there were going to be some precautions in place.
UptownGirl : That I do not know but some other malls have curfews now . They all should have a curfew. They are not there to buy. The stores will lose business because the rest of us who actually shop and buy will not go if they take over.

LittleTexas : I would think that with all of the advertising they had for this, that the LEO's are well aware, and are going to be there to prevent anything from happening. I'm just wondering if maybe this wasn't some type of decoy or distraction from having it happen somewhere else, though.
Ruger5 : you aren't far from wrong. It becomes an "if/then"; if you constantly give in to your kids,for whatever reason, they the kids think they can do Anything they want to, at any time. After all, they feel entitled, since that is part of what their parents have Taught them. Does not bode well, for their future.
