From another website: So interesting incident just happened a young lady rang the door bell, letting me know that a rat infestation had taken place within the perimeter of heath dept recommending a safety check and would like permission to check the HVAC system, the attic, and other areas of our property….free of charge….I'm not letting anyone in my house without official notice……your thoughts Don't let anybody in your house. This is a scam.

GreentreeMom : We had a young man come to our house earlier this week offering pest control services. The truck he got out of didn't have a company logo on it, though, and he wanted to have a look around our house and property. Luckily, my husband was home and told him to leave, I tend to not answer the door, but he stayed a long time and was very persistent. Be careful out there, folks. The only people that should be able to come into your house are the ones that were invited or have an appointment to be there.

GreentreeMom : I never let people in. I usually don't even go to the door. But I did call an air condition guy cause air went out. And you guessed it rats had chewed the outside wires.
