bigla : She did - she jumped out in time. No matter how hard we try, we can't prevent people doing stupid stuff.

I just saw this on FB and came here because there wasn't a comment section. Did her car stall on the track or she wasn't paying attention? Is the train staff ok? God bless them too, hope they are not hurt. Prayers to the train employee(s).. Also please please read this! If there is time, and there may have not been in this case, there is a phone number on the side of each arm and a number. That number notifies all emergency personnel, including trains in the area, about an object stuck on a train track. The number displayed is for that exact intersection. It takes miles and miles for a train to slow down. They can't break like cars do at their weight and speed.

I do too. Butler keeps telling the car got pushed off the track by the train but I can't see it. But the lady sure is upset.

Donnawisdom : It's in the video, it's hard to see because of the car color. People are looking at the girl running, shift your eyes to the train hitting the car. It took me a second to realize the car was smashed in that same video.

That's awful. Has to be hard on the train staff knowing they hit a car. Praying for them.
