Yesterday's power outage in the Tree Lane/Woodland Hills Drive area My power finally came back on at 6:50 this morning. It went out at 5something last night. That was a long time. At least it was night time and my house did not get hot. Does anyone know what the problem was?

When I got my generator I never dreamed it would be used as much as it has been used. Who knew our power would be so unreliable as it has been. Just all the food that has to be thrown out is a bit of money.
Wow, sorry you had to go all night without power! Last I read, they had exceeded the time promised, but that is Way Too long! I have a battery operated fan I got on Amazon for nights like that. Hope the power stays on!
Invest in a home generator if you can afford it. Power goes out more in the Houston area than anywhere I've been.

That is a long time! I heard a tree fell on a transformer but I have not verified that!

That is an incredibly long time, especially as there were no storms. Generators are no longer a luxury, they have become a necessity.

That sounds like the most likely cause especially since it was out for so long! Thank you for the tips!
Tree fell on a line near Bear Branch pool. Apparently it took a few crews to get the line released.
