A few years ago 2 men tried to break down my neighbors door. He had his riffle on the door yelling I am ex military ranger and one of you are going to die. The police have been called. Those guys left so fast and then police arrived. The police said they have been breaking in to houses all the time.
Nothing new here.

I remember years ago two girls came up from Houston thinking Walden off west lake Houston would be easy pickings. They knocked and nobody answered. The older gentleman heard it but didn't answer. Then he heard a rock from his landscaping crash through the side window. Those two 17 year old girls were met with a shotgun blast or two. One girl lost her arm, the other wound up in a wheelchair. All I said was good for the old man. Now the one armed bandit can push her bffs wheelchair. If they only decided to go apply for jobs that day, life would be different.
I think hard time, like 5, maybe 10 years would stem some of the crap.
