I've been using this cleaners for years, I hate to see it close because it wasn't a chain. Paul is such a great young man. I hate to see him lose his business like this. We've become friends over the years.

CaffeineFree : I'm sorry to hear this news, that's a real shame. We used them a few times over the years too, and were always happy with their work. I wonder if he will be able to move to another location, or if the rent is just too high out here.

luannski : yes on the front side of that center facing North Park. I'm hoping that this does not affect all of the small businesses in that center there is a lot of of that going on replacing companies currently.
CatalinaD : I have some items that I'll take to the cleaners tomorrow, so I'll ask him what his plans are. I used to use a cleaners in Town Center, next to FedEx. The landlord wouldn't renew their lease. Now that space is Memorial Herman sports medicine. Imagine something similar with happen to Kingwood Cleaners. I hate to see these small businesses being pushed out and forced to close.
CaffeineFree : It's tough out there! Rents and leases are just crazy and a burden on small business!
MissAmericanPie : Currently the leasing agents only interest is the Almighty dollar and national businesses
FreebyrdII : That's the evolution cycle right now. Hoping small business can hang in there. It's why big chains usually win in the end.
