"An ounce of turkey bacon has two-thirds less fat than an ounce of regular bacon. If you don't like turkey bacon, feel free to use regular. These biscuits are great with a bowl of your favorite soup."
Ingredients
-2 turkey-bacon slices
-2 cups low-fat baking mix (such as reduced-fat Bisquick)
-1/2 cup preshredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
-2 tablespoons chopped green onions
-1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
-3/4 cup skim milk
-cooking spray
Directions
Preheat oven to 400*.

Place bacon on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels. Microwave at HIGH 1 1/2 minutes. Crumble bacon.

Combine bacon, biscuit mix, and next 3 ingredients, stirring mixture well. Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moist. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto a large baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

Bake at 400* for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Serve immediately.
