Article Summary:
Road Closure on Roman Forest Blvd at Railroad Tracks: Detour and Alternative Routes Advised
Roman Forest Blvd at the Railroad tracks will be closed in both directions starting on July 5th for up to 2 weeks. The suggested detour is to take the Grand Parkway to the Galaxy exit, as other roads such as Via Principale Pkwy and Woodbranch Dr. will be congested due to the official detours. The speed limit in Tavola is 30 MPH and Woodbranch is 25 MPH, and these limits will be strictly enforced. There will be no need to stop at Loop 494 on the west side of the tracks, and there will be an officer at Gran Roble Dr during peak times to assist with the stop sign. Taking the Galaxy Blvd / Grand Parkway detour is recommended during peak times if you live in Roman Forest or off of Galaxy.
