A house fire occurred in Grangerland on Love Lady Drive at approximately 10:30 am on Tuesday. Caney Creek Fire arrived to find smoke coming from the eaves of the house and was able to knock the fire down with little structural damage but smoke damage. The homeowner spotted the fire and immediately called the fire department and helped by using a garden hose as he was a brick mason and the home was built completely with rock and brick. The Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office responded but was unable to determine an exact cause, but it was thought to be electrical.
