this week we sat down with Brick Restoration, Inc.

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?

Our mission is to enthusiastically serve customers from start to finish with the highest quality, innovative masonry solutions that restore and enhance the beauty of their properties. We strive to maintain our ranking as the top

choice for masonry repair contractors throughout Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Kingwood, expanding through the influence of highly satisfied customers.

We fully believe that by doing the above, we can provide opportunities for all BRI team members to grow and develop promising careers for the success and well-being of themselves and their families.

Our bread and butter though is masonry crack repairs, Kingwood-area homes can get cracks through their masonry through adverse weather conditions and foundation shifting causes cracks to appear on the exterior of brick homes. Repairing these cracks is a quick way to increase your home’s value and your curb appeal.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?

Brick Restoration Inc. was founded in 1993 by our owner and CEO, Roberto Zumeta. After trying his hand in many different fields, Roberto found his home in Masonry repair. He noticed there was a deep need for craftsmanship that not only repaired the problem but restored the property to its original beauty.

In our bayou city of Houston, the soil is very soft, causing shifts in the foundation. As a result, cracks in the exterior brick and mortar appear that are unsightly. Previously, these cracks were repaired with grey mortar which would take care of the crack but leave a big scar in its place.

The solution? Brick Restoration, Inc.

With our detailed mortar matching and staining technology, Brick Restoration set a new standard for

masonry repair in Houston. Beginning in 1993 as a one-man operation, Brick Restoration has grown to be the most trusted and respected masonry company in the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area.

Since the launch of the company, we have expanded to three locations dedicated to serving Kingwood, Greater Houston and Dallas / Ft. Worth.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
My favorite part of running this business is seeing the transformation when a project is done right—restoring brickwork so it looks original and structurally sound again. I also value building trust with customers, educating them on the proper process, and knowing our work protects and improves their homes for the long term.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
Pedro Chagolla is the trailblazer for our latest business expansion in the Kingwood area. Pedro began his career as a masonry apprentice in 2019. He began working under his father Adrian Chagolla, who is also a skilled masonry restorer at Brick Restoration Inc. While he was a mason, he was quickly promoted to a lead and gained a reputation of being one of the most dependable and hard-working masons the company has had. Similar to how we noticed there was a need for masonry repair, we noticed that there was a need to expand our services to the

Kingwood-Humble area. Pedro stepped up to the plate and decided to be our dedicated masonry specialist in the area.

We will always offer a Veteran’s discount of 5% but check out our business page or the Kingwood.com discount section. We typically offer exclusive monthly discounts for Kingwood residents.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?

Even though we’re called Brick Restoration Inc. we are skilled in repairing more than just brick! Stone, Stucco, Pavers, CMU, our masonry technicians are experts when it comes to working and repairing masonry.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?

Brick Restoration, Inc. is committed to the goal of expansion. We get calls and inquiries from homeowners across the United States (and even Canada) about restoring their home’s masonry. So, we have begun looking into franchising the masonry restoration portion of our business. Furthermore, we would like this to become a brand, our company has existed for over three decades and this level of growth is unprecedented in the field of masonry.
