Interview with Ann, Owner of Ann's Teahouse! - Kingwood

Ann’s Teahouse is a cozy little spot where people can slow down, enjoy boba tea, desserts and a full menu of delicious Vietnamese foods in a quiet and peaceful environment. We’ve been around for two years now and have grown into a favorite hangout for the community.

Honestly, it started with a simple love of boba and food. The idea grew over time until it felt like the natural next step to turn that passion into something real. What started as a “maybe someday” dream eventually became Ann’s Teahouse, and I haven’t looked back since.

We’re proud of the vibe we’ve created. People tell us that visiting feels like a mini getaway. We’re especially known for our signature blends of boba and our full menu of Vietnamese favorites.

The community. Seeing people relax, connect, study, unwind, or discover a new favorite drink or food they’ve never tried. There’s something special about watching strangers become regulars and regulars become friends. The support from Kingwood has been amazing! We also love to support our youth, most of our employees are high school students from Kingwood!

Anyone who appreciates a quiet, cozy place to enjoy a quality drink. We serve tea enthusiasts, Vietnamese food lovers, students looking for a calm study spot, remote workers, book lovers, and anyone who prefers a peaceful corner over a crowded coffee shop.

I’ve always been someone who enjoys serving people and creating warm, welcoming spaces. Before opening Ann’s Teahouse, my background was a mix of hospitality, creativity, and a lot of tea-related and food experimenting in my own kitchen. Eventually those things came together in the form of Ann’s Teahouse.

We love to celebrate the Chinese New Year—Every year we have a HUGE Dragon Dancing event in our parking lot to show our appreciation for our culture and the support from our community. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a amazing event and you should definitely mark your calendars!
