It is that time again. Time to put on the lederhosen, get your mug ready and be prepared for the time-honored chant of “ZICKE ZACKE, ZICKE ZACKE, HOI HOI HOI!”

The Kingwood Oktoberfest is right around the corner, and we are so excited to welcome you! Holy Comforter Lutheran Church started The Kingwood Oktoberfest to share the love of Christ by inviting the community to our

cozy campus for fellowship and fun! Kingwood’s original Oktoberfest, The Kingwood Oktoberfest (TKO) will once again be “rolling out” barrels of fun on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Holy Comforter Lutheran Church (1901 Woodland Hills Drive).

This family fun event will once again feature German inspired food, a children’s play area, polka music and more.
Among the highlights are captivating performances by the Kingwood High School German Club dancers, who bring
authentic cultural flair to the festivities. The air is filled every year with the lively tunes of the Texas Sound Check Band, delighting the crowd with their authentic German Polka music. Attendees can also indulge in mouthwatering
German cuisine, savoring every bite of the traditional fare, and local craft beer from DECA Beer Co. As always, there will be games and activities for all ages. We will also have our 3 rd annual The Kingwood Oktoberfest Costume

Contest, Sponsored by The Cove, for children and adults. This year we are also adding a Vendor Marketplace for
your shopping pleasure! We still have a few booths left, if you’d like to be a vendor, see details at

www.kwOktoberfest.org or contact Judy Browder at jkbrowder@yahoo.com

The doors will open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is $8.00 for adults and $3.00 dollars for children twelve and under. Cash and debit or credit cards will be accepted at the front gate, or you can purchase tickets in advance

at www.kwOktoberfest.org.

In 2016, The Kingwood OKTOBERFEST (TKO) debuted, earning prestigious recognition as one of the "Top Ten Events of Kingwood" by The Kingwood Observer. Fast forward to 2023, TKO celebrated its sixth anniversary with over 1,400 enthusiastic attendees. This year, we expect over 1,000 and we could not hold this event without volunteers and sponsors from our community. If you’d like to be a part of TKO, visit our website at www.kwOktoberfest.org.

This year, we are pleased to announce that our Platinum Event Sponsor is Tony Burt, Re/Max Assoc. Northeast. Our Gold Sponsor is The Mint National Bank. Our Silver Sponsor is The Law Office of Melissa Rae Lanier. The Children’s Area Sponsor is Carpet Giant. Our Bronze Sponsors are The Cove Craft Beer and Wine, Building

Enterprises, Awaken Wealth Partners, and Sullivan’s Truck, Auto & Collision. Community Sponsor is Christina Renee Music and we are blessed to have In-Kind Sponsorship from Kingwood.com (Kosmin Media), Community

Impact and Club Foyer DJ Services.

So, join us October 19th, and raise a stein to the often imitated, never duplicated, The Kingwood Oktoberfest!

Prost!

Holy Comforter Lutheran Church, founded in 1966 as a congregation of the Lutheran Church in America, Texas Louisiana Synod, has faithfully served the Humble and Kingwood area in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and was the first church of Kingwood. We believe that we are called to love others as God loves us. We are called to be his hands and feet in the world and called into action to go deeper with Christ. At HCLC we do this by Discovering our Faith, Growing in Community and Living God’s Mission! We worship on Sundays at 8:15am, 11:00am and have dinner, Bible study and service projects for all ages and abilities on WoW Night Wednesdays – Worship, Word & Witness at 6 p.m. All are welcome!
