Interview with Robert Jones and Craig Brown of Three B's Grill - Kingwood

As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Robert Jones and Craig Brown, Owners of Three B's Grill!

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer and how long have you been around?

We are a sports-themed American grill for the whole family. Check out our extensive lunch and dinner menus, full bar with 25 TVs featuring your favorite sports and open late on the weekends. We want to be your neighborhood place and within the Kingwood community we're the spot to feel "almost home".

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?

With a corporate restaurant background, Robert started Three B's, naming it after his three sons Brett, Brady and Bennett. Shortly after starting this fresh eatery offering burgers to wings, steak to pasta and more, Craig Brown

joined the team as Co-Owner bringing his foodservice background and extensive people skills to the mix.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
The Three B's Team is super proud of being a valuable part of the community for the last 14 years. A big shout out of thanks to all who stop in and keep coming back, making 2023 their biggest year ever. Known for their fan-favorite chicken fried steak tacos and specialty burgers with the fullest menu options available, you're sure to feel like you're "almost home".

What is your favorite part of running this business?
Our business is all about people. Meeting people, serving people, getting to know people, working with people and welcoming people.

Who is your target market or ideal customer/client?

We're a family grill with a kid's room, a bar for grownups and extensive lunch options too. Hungry? Thinking about dinner? Heading out with friends? Stop in for your favorite dish or try something new. Open 7 days a week to better serve you.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?

The dynamic duo of Robert and Craig bring a strong variety of restaurant management skills to the table (see what we did there) and really balance each other out. While Robert handles the back of the house portion, Craig is the smiling face in the front of the house.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?

Three B's exists and excels with offering food, drinks and a welcoming neighborhood environment to make you

happy. The staff is ready and willing to embrace evolving trends and tastes, going that extra mile to accommodate you and make you feel right at home.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?

The hot news for Three B's Grill is the expansion into Porter at Oakhurst Country Club with Three B's On the

Green. Offering a full lunch and dinner menu with a full bar, Banquet Hall that can accommodate up to 100, livemusic on the weekends. Teacher Appreciation Tuesday and Thursday Steak Nights are already establishing them as the go-to spot and making established and new customers alike catch that you're "almost home" vibe!
