Local Soccer Player Heads to England to Train with Professional Clubs - Kingwood

Houston, TX - We are pleased to announce that Caleb Coronel, a Houston-based soccer player that started playing soccer with JC Sports Houston and currently attending Villarreal CF Houston Academy/ Summer Creek High School, has earned a prestigious spot in the EXACT 11 International Program. Coronel was selected from a

pool of thousands of athletes nominated by dozens of college coaches at EXACT College Showcase Camps.

This highly competitive program recognizes the top athletes in the country. Coronel, a remarkable attacking midfielder, will have the opportunity to train and compete with professional clubs abroad during a trip to London.

"Caleb has been passionately involved in soccer with JC Sports Houston from the age of 4, and his drive and commitment are evident in his numerous accomplishments including three extensive training experiences with the Villarreal CF Academy in Spain and invitations to camps with Villarreal CF in Mexico City," says a spokesman for EXACT Sports. Moreover, his team-orientation, hard work, and impeccable character have been recognized earning him the MVP title for his Middle School Team.

Coronel, who is excited about his freshman year at Summer Creek High School in Humble, TX, stated, "Being selected for the EXACT 11 International is a great achievement for me as a freshman. I'm proud to travel internationally and represent the USA with EXACT 11. I am very grateful to EXACT 11 because I am learning so much on and off the field, helping with my recruiting process."

The participant hopes to continue his soccer journey after high school with aspirations to play for UCLA and pursue a career in the medical field. Supporters can look forward to his exceptional performance and progression as an athlete and person in the EXACT 11 International Program.

Relevant athletic achievements include: Villarreal CF Houston Team Captain, Autumn Ridge Middle School MVP Soccer Season Spring 2023, Villarreal CF Invitational Camps in Spain 2020, 2022 and 2023, Villarreal ID Camp Mexico City 2023, and the Villarreal Houston League EDPL Div1 Champion season 22/23.
