As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Kingwood Santa!

Tell us a bit about yourself:
Kingwood Santa is a real, bearded, jolly ‘ole soul who enjoys the Christmas spirit, love of the season, peace and joy 365 days a year in the Greater Kingwood area.

What can Kingwood Santa do for you?  Photos, memories, parties, parades, community engagements and so much more by making your holiday wishes come true.  Kingwood Santa is available to help bring the magic of the season to your personal, corporate or non-profit gathering.  Interact with the most recognized figure to believers young and old for fond memories, incredible experiences and an intimate opportunity to ask for what you want for Christmas!

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work?   Kingwood Santa humbly admits he’s following in the footsteps of St. Nicholas, Kris Kringle and proud to be carrying on this over 400 year old family tradition.

Tell us about some special Kingwood Santa memories?

There is no greater joy for Kingwood Santa than to see a person’s face light up with joy when they see him.  When kids of all ages get to hug the Kingwood Santa, sing carols together, dance with joy and share a Ho Ho Ho they both get to relive the magic of the season together.  There are so many special memories he holds dear to his heart and he’s hoping to add special memories with you too.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?
Yes!  December 25th!  Follow the countdown to Christmas on my website www.KingwoodSanta.com.  He’ll be attending the Humble City of Lights Parade December 5th.  As Senior Elf in Charge, he no longer make toys, but he does supervise all aspects of the North Pole operations.  Between production and logistics and reindeer maintenance he makes special appearances in Kingwood, Atascocita, Humble, Porter and New Caney.

Anything else you’d like to share?
The EIA or Elf Intelligence Agency works year round.  Bernard is Kingwood Santa’s EIA in charge and reports directly to the big guy.  Jillian and Genevieve are the senior EIA agents in Kingwood who keep a watchful eye over who is on the nice list and who is on the naughty list reporting back to Bernard.

Any Christmas Eve tips from Kingwood Santa?
So listen up boys and girls, make good choices and I’ll plan on seeing you this holiday season.  What’s my favorite cookie?  Round.  But I also enjoy cookies shaped like wreaths, trees, angels, ornaments, gifts and reindeer.  I look forward to seeing you at your events and gatherings and will wait for you to fall asleep Christmas Eve before I come see you again.  Experience the magic of the season with Kingwood Santa and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
