Tachus began officially providing internet service this week to the
first household in the Kingwood area. Kings Manor, a neighborhood to the west of Kingwood, marks the very first home in the entire Kingwood region to receive Tachus internet service.
With construction already begun in Oakhurst and Kings Mill as well, Tachus' goal is to offer internet service to the rest of Kingwood by the end of 2021. Residents of Kings Manor, and eventually the rest of Kingwood, will be able to access their network's blazing fast speeds, as well as the support of local customer service based in The Woodlands. As a local Internet provider, Tachus strives to bring the best possible service to the community, with an emphasis on transparency and customer relationships. They will have fiber internet that comes with no price increases, no extra taxes or fees, no data caps, and no throttling.
“We are excited to expand our network to the Kingwood area,” said Tachus Co-founder and CEO Hal Brumfield. “Residents have been asking for our service for a long time, and we have listened. And now we are happy to bring it to them.”
