Four members of the Kingwood Park High School's Panther Marching Band entertained Kingwood residents with
patriotic songs for the Fourth of July.
The quartet could be seen throughout the day in various locations, such as Town Center Park, King's Harbor, and in front of the fountain on Kingwood Drive and Lake Houston Parkway. They played a variety of inspiring songs, including the national anthem and America the Beautiful. Residents honked and waved in appreciation and in solidarity as we celebrated our great nation's Independence.
The teens have been good friends since middle school, where they met in band, and now participate in the marching band as well as run on the cross country and track team at Kingwood Park High.
Sivan, on Trombone, Aiden, on Saxophone, and Reece, on Saxophone will be juniors this fall; and Giovanni, on trumpet, will be a senior.
"My friends and I wanted to share our musical gifts as well as demonstrate the Freedom that we enjoy as Americans, especially amidst all that our country has been through these past months," said Sivan.
The boys plan to play for the public again in the near future, so be sure to check our events section for their next performance!
