Kingwood Montessori School is proud to have weathered the storm of COVID-19 through March and April in the early stages of the pandemic and continue to try to adapt thoughtfully to the needs of our families and the wider community. Based on our many conversations with parents, we understand that this pandemic has had unexpected and far-reaching impacts on every family.
On May 4th, we were proud to open our school on a limited basis to serve the children of our parents who are Essential Service Providers. The sanitizing and health-check procedures are going smoothly, and students, staff, and parents are enjoying the return to a semblance of normality.
On May 18th, Governor Greg Abbott opened Texas daycares for all children beyond those of Essential Service Providers: Emergency Rules for Certain Day Care Operations.
If your child is missing the social benefits of a small community and learning independently in an educational environment, please call us.
