How To Find The Right Coach
• Find a coach who will challenge you and might even be completely different than you from a personality standpoint. If you hire a coach who will tell you what you want to hear, you won't gain anything. You'll just reinforce your current pattern. Your coach should bring you out of your comfort zone and make you reassess -- not reinforce -- what you're doing.
• Find a coach who encourages you to change with the times -- even if it's inconvenient. Tom Brady and LeBron James are pretty darn successful. What if they closed their ears and kept doing what they were doing without adapting to changes in the NFL and NBA, respectively? Their success would wane.

The bottom line: Embrace diverse opinions. Be open to new ideas. Listen to feedback, and make incremental improvements.
