Kingwood Montessori’s students come from all over the world representing a diverse range of cultures and traditions. Children establish strong neurological connections for languages in the early-years and exposure to two or more languages better prepares them for success as world citizens.

Currently, our children have weekly resource lessons with a Spanish specialist.
To further extend our provision, we are excited to announce a Pilot Dual-Language Program (English/Spanish) which will begin on November 11th, 2019.

Young Children’s Community - YCC 12 - 24 months
Conversational English and Spanish

Toddler Environment - T 18 months to 3 years
Spanish resource lessons and American Sign Language (ASL)

Early Childhood Environment - EC 3 - 5 years
Spanish resource lessons and Dual-Language in work period

Elementary Environment - 1st - 6th Grade
Spanish resource lessons and Spanish materials available in the classroom as a work choice

Kingwood Montessori School’s Dual-Language Program will foster bilingualism biliteracy and enhanced awareness of cultural diversity.
