As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Nicole Crocker of Partners N Grime.

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
I started my company Partners N Grime in 2016. My business offers Residential Cleaning, Professional Organization, Make Readies, Move In/Outs, Pre/Post Event, De-clutter, Grout/Flood Restorations, Power Washing and much more.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work?
I've always been OCD when it comes to cleanliness. After having my twin girls and a third daughter, I started experimenting with home remedies to save money. One of those home remedies included making my own baby wipes for my children. When I tried one of the home remedies and saw how great it worked, I was hooked. So, adding my experience with home remedies to my cleaning business has helped so many clients of mine to make life a bit easier. I always ask myself the same question, why did it take me so long to get started?

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
I'll admit my company name is original and catchy and when I came up with it, I knew that it was perfect. What separates me from other cleaning services is that I use a lot of home remedies that work, it's my signature.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
Knowing how much I can make my client's lives easier every day is a wonderful feeling. I also enjoy creating my own schedule to accommodate my client's needs. This also allows me to spend quality time with kids.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
I love doing organization jobs and letting my clients see that life can be less stressful and chaotic. You don't have to buy expensive things to organize, a lot of what I use is mostly already in the home.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
I'm a DIY {Do it yourself} handy-woman, I love to fix/repair/restore things that I know can still be used.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?

Let me make your house a home again. Your home is your sanctuary, not something you dread coming back to after a long workday.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
I hope to gain more client relationships and some tough projects - those are my favorite.
